In addition to the structural characteristics and physical-constructive requirements, in the residential building the focus is on the soundproofing and thermal insulation system. The thermal-acoustic absorption requirements vary according to the construction project. While in single-family homes there are no special requirements to be met, the floors and walls of multi-storey buildings have to meet high standards and are subject to different regulations in various European countries.
